ABOUT THE PROJECT
Another Kickstarter game from Kerberos Productions, The Pit: The Boardgame was designed by Martin Cirulis with art by John Yakimow to emulate its namesake, the PC Roguelike Sword of the Stars: The Pit. Turning a dynamic and never repeating video game into a big box tabletop game was a challenge in design as well as manufacturing, with several hundred cards and a half-dozen plastic miniature figures. I acted as the Production Lead, filling the producer role, overseeing milestones and scheduling, organizing tradeshow attendance, playtesting, print file preparation and QA, and liaising with the manufacturer, fulfillment partners, and game backers.
